SHEILA MEYER -
Founder/Director
Sheila previously trained and performed under many prestigious Atlanta-based professional dance instructors and choreographers. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Sheila felt compelled to launch The Little Ballerina, a dance studio dedicated to serving the Atlanta Jewish Community. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2003, Sheila has continued to serve her community by founding A Time For Dance, a studio giving the Los Angeles and Valley communities the tremendous opportunity to study specialized forms of dance in a professional environment. |

HADASSAH ESTHER - Artistic Director
Hadassah has enjoyed a career as a professional dancer, performing with North Carolina Dance Theatre, New York Theatre Ballet, Central Dance Theatre among others. Her formal training comes from The Royal Academy of Ballet’s conservatory and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center’s Certificate Program. She has attended The Language of Dance Center and is certified in Levels I ,II and currently working on Level III, “Creative Process in a Pedagogical Framework”. Hadassah just directed " Summer Arts Experience" , A Time for Dance's performing arts camp. She is looking forward to another amazing season! |

VANESSA SUAREZ
Vanessa graduated from Florida International University with a BA in Dance and Teaching. Teaching has been a huge part of her life for about 13 yrs and she really loves it! She teaches all ages, all forms which includes: Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Modern, Acrobatics, Aerobics, Salsa, Merengue, Samba and more. She has several artist credits including Gerardo, Shanice, Azul Azul, to name a few. This is Vanessa’s fifth season at A Time For Dance. |

SARAH ROMANOWSKY
Since obtaining her BA in Dance from Loyola Marymount University, Sarah has performed professionally as a dancer and aerialist in productions throughout Los Angeles, Las Vegas and the Dominican Republic. She's been seen performing at the Queen Mary, Knotts Berry Farm and Bellagio, to name a few. Sarah is also an accomplished choreographer, creating work performed at the LA Convention Center, choreographing a full-length production for Studio A Theater, and contributing works to the Los Angeles showcases Dancescape and Dancespot. |

MOLLY BRICTSON
Molly began her dance training at The Gould Academy of Dance Arts. She graduated with a BFA in Dance from Western Michigan University. She has performed most notably at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and with Philadanco Dance Company. Her choreography was selected to appear in Western Michigan University’s Winter Concert, 2005. Currently Molly is performing with two local based companies. |

DANIEL GUNDERT
Daniel, originally from San Diego, Daniel started gymnastics at the age of 5. He continued training under Coach Steve Butcher 2 time Olympic Coach and Judge, For eight years, Daniel competed in National Level Gymnastics Competitions as an “all-round gymnast” competing in all six events. He earned title as National Champion several times on High bar rings, pommel horse and the all-round for several levels and ended competing as an Elite Gymnast. He has 10 years of teachers experience and has a wonderful and fun curriculum to get children motivated to learn. |

MAAYAN KERBEL
Maayan, personal trainer and kickboxing Instructor, uses his experience in the Israeli Army to teach Krav Maga and Kickboxing. He has an excellent rapport with children and enjoys helping them exercise and develop skills. |

JUDY WINEGARD
Judy, former broadway actress and professional singer, was classically trained in the performing arts at the Neighborhood Playhouse in Manhattan, New York, as well as, at Ithaca College. She has performed in musical theater for over 25 years. Since 1999 she has been on the staff of Kol Neshama. She has been a master acting teacher and coach in improvisation, scene study, voice and movement and singing. She had one of the starring roles, Miss Agatha Grimshaw, in the first ever, for women only, movie musical. Just this past year Judy co-wrote her one-woman show, The Wedding Presence, which she performed in NY for over 3,000 women. |

RENA KONAR
Rena graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Theater and toured with, “Comedy Airlines” an improvisational comedy troupe. Upon moving to LA in 1990, she studied acting with coaches including Kathy Griffin, Mindy Sterling and Cynthia Szigeti, and was member of the Acme Comedy Theater. After becoming frum, Rena has taught improv acting technique at Kol Neshama and has produced and directed “They Came to America ” and “West Side High School Story” for Valley Torah HS. |

PAMELA COHEN
Pamela studied Musical Theatre at The American Musical Academy in New York. She has been performing since age 5 and is currently teaching in programs with Gary Spatz, a renowned children’s acting coach here in L.A. She has also performed with The Jewish Women’s Theatre Group. |
